Beef and Cheese Quesadillas

This quesadilla recipe is perfect for satisfying your cravings for a hearty and delicious meal. A savory and calorie-dense quesadilla filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese.

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 tbsp of taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for serving
  • Salsa for serving
  • Cooking oil

Steps

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, season with taco seasoning. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Place 1 tortilla on a clean surface.
  3. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over one half of the tortilla. Top with the cooked ground beef.
  4. Sprinkle diced tomatoes and onions. Add more cheese over the toppings.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half .
  6. Heat some oil over medium heat in a large skillet.
  7. Place the quesadilla in the skillet and cook until the cheese is melts .
  8. Remove from the skillet and let it cool for a minute, then slice into wedges and serve with sour cream and salsa.
